Shoshone Rose Casino & Hotel

It was fairly affordable, pretty clean, and was comfortable enough and the staff were kind! We stayed two nights and even drove up to the top of the mountain on Sinks Canyon Road. Here we enjoyed a picnic near one of the lakes up there. It was a memorable experience!

Rooms are very nice and beds are comfortable. Loved the bathroom layout. Hotel is very well kept. Restaurant is reasonable with good food. The property is clean inside and out. Staff was very helpful. If in the area this is a good choice………….

I don't usually write reviews for hotels, but my stay at Shoshone Rose stood out amongst all the other hotels I stayed at during my long cross-country trip. So I wanted to add a more recent review to their other reviews. Since I didn't partake in the ******, this review is for the hotel and restaurant only. If I didn't have a travel itinerary to stick to, I would have stayed here a week because it was easy to relax in such a quiet and peaceful place. The updated room was beautiful, clean, and had a gorgeous view of the Wind River mountains. I was able to catch both sunrise and sunset over the mountains from my window. No odors or heavy fragrances in the room either. You have to walk through the ****** to get to the restaurant, but thankfully there's no smoking in the ******. I didn't get to use the pool and hot tub, but I had breakfast and dinner in the Deka-Guy Hee restaurant. They have a decent variety for the unlimited salad bar, and an amazing Indian taco. The room reservation included a $10 coupon off breakfast, which you can pick up at the front desk in the morning. I got an omelet and it was a good amount of food for only a few bucks. They also offer a AAA discount, but their website doesn't have a way to input that when making a reservation. So I had to call to get it. I also stayed at the Wind River ****** & Hotel 30 minutes away near Riverton, and Shoshone Rose far surpassed them in every way that was important to me: cleanliness, amenities, friendliness of staff, and value. So if you're choosing between the two hotels, Shoshone Rose has my vote. The next time I return, I will be booking a longer stay.

Very friendly staff. Convenient parking and easily accessible rooms. Restaurant meal was a good one. Overall positive experience. This was an out of the way stop but we enjoyed the scenery going and coming...............................

Mom and I Just stopped in for a quick lunch and a little ********. Newer machines, excellent parking, and helpful and friendly employees. The Cafe had sandwiches and Indian fry bread. Beautiful views of the mountains to the west.

We stayed at Shoshone Rose ****** & Hotel for 3 nights. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. Very nice relaxing backyard with a huge fireplace that even in July it was really nice to gather around chatting, smoking, and drinking. The food in the ****** was very good. We ate there breakfast and dinner and everything was great. Also very nice, pleasant personal. The experience was fantastic and next time I'm in town I will definitely stay there. Nothing bad to complain about it.

We stayed at the Shoshone Rose at the recommendation of another hotel in a near by town and we were so impressed! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous! We stayed in the king suite because one of us snores and needs our own enclosed space (hi…it’s me… I’m the problem…) and we couldn’t hear each other which was great. And for the price I don’t know why you would stay anywhere else!!

So, rooms are really nice actually. Customer service is really bad. But, given the circumstances I understand. I'll stay here again. Maybe as a white male I'm perceived as a typical entitled white man, so I don't blame them. I've stayed a couple times and just cold reception from employees. Buy nice rooms!
